1. Introduction

At Sunny Store, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the app. By using Sunny Store you agree to the practices described below.

Sunny Store is an Iraq-based mobile platform specialized in Nissan Sunny car parts. It lets users: browse and buy parts, post listings of used Nissan Sunny vehicles (C2C marketplace), and book appointments at certified service centers.

2. Data We Collect

a. Information you provide at signup

• Full name — to set up your account and personalize the experience.
• Phone number — to verify your identity, complete purchases, and enable contact between buyers and sellers in the C2C marketplace.
• Email address (optional) — for account recovery and order notifications.
• Gender & car model year (optional) — to show parts compatible with your vehicle.
• Password — stored bcrypt-hashed. Nobody, including our team, can read it.

b. Information you create while using the app

• Delivery addresses — to ship your orders. Linked only to your account.
• User-generated content — images and descriptions you post in the cars marketplace are visible to other users (this is inherent to a marketplace).
• Requested service — text describing what you want serviced/replaced when booking a maintenance appointment.
• Order & booking history — so you can review past activity and for support purposes.

c. Information collected automatically

• Push notification token — used only to deliver order-status notifications. It cannot identify you outside the app.
• App & device version — for crash reporting and technical support.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Process and deliver your orders to the address you provide.
• Verify buyer/seller identity in the C2C cars marketplace to prevent fraud.
• Send order-status push notifications (preparing, shipped, delivered, cancelled).
• Send service-booking confirmations and reminders.
• Provide customer support and resolve complaints.
• Improve app performance through anonymous, aggregated analytics.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with ad networks or data brokers.

Limited sharing happens only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the app:

• Push notification provider — only the device token, to deliver status notifications.
• Vendors — your name, phone, and delivery address are visible only to the specific vendor whose product you purchased, so they can fulfill the order.
• Service centers — your name, phone, and the service you requested are shown only to the center you booked with.
• Government authorities — only under a valid legal request or court order.

5. Tracking & Advertising

We do not invoke Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because we perform no such tracking. We use no advertising cookies, ad SDKs, or third-party analytics intended for ad targeting.

6. Data Security

• Passwords — hashed with bcrypt (one-way, irreversible).
• Transport — all network calls use HTTPS / TLS.
• Admin access — restricted to a defined team and audit-logged.
• Auth — short-lived JWT tokens.
• Images — compressed (Base64) and stored within our database; not uploaded to external servers.

7. Your Rights (aligned with GDPR & CCPA best practices)

• Access — you may request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Rectification — you can edit your profile directly from the "Edit Account" screen.
• Deletion — you can permanently delete your account directly inside the app: Profile → "Delete Account Permanently" button. Your account and all related data (orders, bookings, car listings) will be removed immediately and cannot be recovered. Alternatively, email [email protected] and we'll process the deletion within 7 business days.
• Withdraw consent — disable push notifications anytime from your device settings.

8. Children

Sunny Store is intended for adults (18+) because transactions require legal capacity. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and any such account discovered will be deleted immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app and/or by email. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new version.
